IMPACT 12 Proceedings // 2023

We are delighted to release the first collection of academic papers from the IMPACT Conference The Printmakers' Voice, 21-25 September 2022, hosted by The Centre for Print Research, University of the West of England.

To maintain your fading memories of the IMPACT Conference, we will continue to publish papers over the next year. The conference was an extraordinary coming together of printmakers across the globe - both in person and online. I hope you agree it was a fantastic opportunity to listen to each other's voices again by sharing and discussing ideas, seeing new works of art and curated exhibitions, and experiencing the richness and diversity of printmaking. It could not have happened without your effort and imagination.

We will shortly send announcements and opportunities to participate in the IMPACT journal.

In the meantime, please read the first collection of IMPACT conference papers. Don't forget our recently published Issue 6, edited by Wuon-Gean Ho. Many thanks to Wuon-Gean, who will be moving on to new creative adventures.

Please do contact us with your new submissions. We look forward to hearing more from you. Best of wishes for a creative 2023

Carinna Parraman, Impact Chair

and Rebecca Edery, Editions Manager.
