We are the IMPACT Printmaking Journal, published by the Centre for Print Research, University of the West of England, Bristol, UK.
What personal data do we collect, and why do we collect it
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service Privacy Policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt to save your name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
Embedded content from other websites

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can automatically recognise and approve any follow-up comments instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we must keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Your personal information will be processed by the University of the West of England, Bristol, in accordance with the provisions and principles of the General Data Protection Regulation as enacted and amended by UK legislation. If you submit an article for peer review, we will hold your data securely and not make it available to any third party unless permitted or required by law.
Rights and Permissions
For Issue One: Authors may re-publish or rework their contributions but may not use the copyedited version or the format and designs of the final PDF version of the IMPACT Printmaking Journal. We ask that you let us know about your intention to republish and that you waive these rights until a year after our journal is published and distributed. A full citation should be given for the source.
For Issue Two and ongoing: The content of the work on this site is published by a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Licence (CC BY 4.0 licence). The licence allows others to distribute, remix, tweak, and build upon the work published on this site, even commercially, as long as credit is given for the original creation.
